In this article, I’ll tell you my experience of taking a VIP Cancun Airport transfer with Discovery Mundo. I took a flight from Miami at 11 am to Cancun Airport arriving at 1 pm on January 17.

During the flight they offered us a drink, they don’t sell food on the plane to eat, so I recommend you to buy some snacks before the flight. I was so hungry that don’t try to talk to the passengers sitting next to me, but normally I talk a lot! Luckily, this time they were a couple of Brazilians and did not speak Spanish or English, we were communicating in sign language haha.
I was falling asleep, of course! It was Sunday morning and I didn’t sleep the night before because I was talking with my family all night long, so my head was falling every time I try to sleep. I was so embarrassed that I started playing in my cellphone bejeweled blitz for one hour -.- because I didn’t had another game, so my second recommendation in case you are going on a long flight is that you should have more than one game on your phone, a movie downloaded, in case that you can not connect to the wifi (which happened to me) or a book, at least I did maximum score.

Finally, arriving at Cancun Airport, the weather was perfect 25 degrees Celsius. Once I picked up my bag, luckily the police give me a green light so I pass super fast the checking point, yay!!  Walking to the exit I found many agencies.

My personal recommendation for this corridor, pass directly to exit without seeing or asking anyone anything, because there is a high possibility that you get distracted with their services. It is better to book everything online and be clear what you have to do at Cancun Airport upon arrival, the driver phone number was at the end of my transfer confirmation.
Another recommendation, don’t change your American dollars to Mexican pesos at the airport, it’s better to go to a exchange house in the center of Cancun, because I realized that the price they give to foreigners, is very low. The day I arrive, the official exchange rate was 17 pesos for 1 US dollar and the exchange at the airport was 14 Mexican pesos per US dollar.

When you are coming out from terminal 3, you will find many people with signs with various names, be patient to find yours don’t go right or left just go straight.

There are many people and everything looks the same color haha, so I recommend that before thinking of walking to the end and get lost haha, stop for a moment to see the signs and find the one with your name.

When I met Aaron (the driver), He greeted me with a smile and then we walk to the car.

While we waited a few minutes, because there were many transfers going out, He gave us a warm towel. The car was super clean, comfortable, loved it!

I recommend you to take the VIP Cancun Airport transfer if you are coming with 2-4 people, if you come with more friends take the private van Cancun Airport Transfer, both are great 😀
On the way Aaron (the driver) was super friendly with us, we talk about what to do in Cancun, the weather, best restaurants in Cancun, how was Christmas eve and other experiences. Very good service, literally we didn’t wait. Everything was great, he brought a cooler with beer, water and diet coke. I notice He had an auxiliary cable =), but my iphone was running out of batery, anyway, the music was great too!

At terminal 3 outside Cancun Airport go to the right to Margaritaville stand, the driver will met you there (prices? example $4 usd for a Gatorade). Don’t worry, you can ask the driver to stop later in St. George house exchange with no extra charge.

At Terminal 2 in Cancun Airport, when you exit the sliding glass doors, look to the right to see all the greeters. Around the corner to the far right is the Meeting Point Cafe, the driver will met you there.
