Previously known as Pool Tunich. This mysterious and enigmatic place offers an spectacular natural show with its thousands of stalactites and stalagmites. This formations are testimony of the millions of years that have passed for this caves and rivers to be as they are now. 

Highlights

Considered as the largest non-submerged cave of the Peninsula, it has semi-submerged areas which allows exploration without any specialized training. This voyage inside the Crystal Cave is an experience that you can not miss.

What to Expect

First, the entrance to the natural reserve of Rio Secreto where special equipment is supplied to be able to realize the activities, starting with a walk through the jungle followed by a 15 meters descent through mother Earth's maze to access and wade through the underground river during 1 hour and a half. The tour finishes with a couple of minutes of silence to enjoy the sounds of the caves. 

Food is served after having seen the pictures that were taking during the guided tour.

• 8:00 am to 9:20 am - Pick up at hotels.
• 10:30 am - Arrival at Rio Secreto
• 11:00 until 2:30 pm - Activities followed by lunch
• 3:00 pm - Return towards the hotels, arriving aproximately at 16:30
