Airport Transportation to Riu Caribe

Riu Caribe hotel is located in Cancun Hotel Zone in front of the sea with extensive beach. With 506 rooms provided with amenities, minibar, safebox and more. The Junior Suites are more spacious and have a larger terrace.

All inclusive program  for national and international drinks in 5 bars and food in 4 restaurant. For dinner, a formal dress code is required in the specialty restaurants.

The entertainment staff offers day and afternoon activities, shows or live music are presented at night. The kidz club area is known as "Riuland" with activities for diferente ages.

"Renova Spa" offers different treatments and facials, beauty salon, hairdressing salon and more. The gym, steam bath and jacuzzi are free for adults only.


Transportation from Cancun International Airport to Riu Caribe

Riu Caribe is located 21 km away from Cancún International Airport, just 30 minutes away with no traffic. In Discoverymundo we specialize in transfers to make your transfer to the hotel easier and more pleasant.

Cancun International Airport has 5 different terminals, after booking you will receive an email with the Arrival Instructions and meeting point depending on the terminal of your flight, we will track your flight during the day until you arrive. A representative from Discoverymundo will be waiting for you outside the terminal of Cancun International Airport on the “pre-book shuttle exit” NOT the “family exit”. We are NOT allowed to go to that area.

Outside the terminal, he will be holding a white and blue banner with the logo of Discoverymundo, after meeting him, he will guide you to your assigned vehicle in the parking area of the terminal.  if he says that the van is on his way you can relax at the bar with a drink or simple by his side, once the vehicle enters the terminal you will be directed to the van


Can I book my private transportation once I arrive in Cancun International Airport? 

Yes, you can book your Transportation to Cancun directly on website, there is Free Wifi at the Airport and once you receive your confirmation in your email, immediately we will assign a vehicle for your service, it might take 5 or 20 minutes it depends on the daily operation.

Use this service

This was our first time to Mexico so we needed to able to get to the Ferry Dock in a safe and efficient way. Discovery Mundo's service was exactly that. We were bombarded by people from other services right off of the plane so it was very comforting to know that we could head straight to our shuttle and bypass all the solicitations. Our shuttle wasn't some old, tiny jalopy with no A/C, it was a large, clean and NEW SUV with cold air and plenty of room. The driver was great. He drove very safely not like some crazy taxi hurrying to dump you off for the next pickup. Also they were ON TIME to pick us up when we needed to head back to the airport. We were very wise to read the previous reviews and make the decision to go with Discovery Mundo's service. Highly recommended.

Have used Discovery Mundo twice in Cancun now. All four trips they were on time or early. Very courteous and easy to find. I was hesitant to do this online with the company I didn't know but they confirmed at every step. On our last trip to the airport Alberto was especially pleasant and fun to talk to. He helped me with my Spanish.

This is the second year we have used Discovery Mundo for our airport to hotel transportation in Cancun. I was a little nervous doing this online with a company I didn't know. Both times, they were there waiting for us coming and going. This time from the airport, we had to walk to the other side of the airport, but it is so congested there it was not the driver's fault. We were picked up at the Riu Caribe for our flight back by Alberto. He was so friendly and personable, spoke perfect English and gave us tips for next year and we, of course, gave him a tip. Will use them again.

What a relief!

I am always leery of booking something online for a trip to another country, through a service I don't know. Luckily, Discovery Mundo was easy to find (both ways), was EARLY, and very reasonable. The drivers were friendly. The driver on the way back (wish I could remember his name) came up to me in the hotel and called me by name. Would use them again in a heartbeat.
