Cancun shallow reefs are the best choice if you want to have a really good snorkeling! It is also the perfect combination for those who does not want to go diving but want to see the reef and all the life.

What to Expect

On the first visit we go to manchones reef, which is a coral reef formation with more than 2 miles of reef in the south of Isla Mujeres, the place is protected by the island and most part of the year has perfect weather and snorkeling conditions. Life is all over the reef, from turtles to angel fish, this is one of the places you have to visit: either scuba or snorkel but you have to do it. 

On the second visit you will also have the chance to snorkel above the MUSA, this project began with three experts that came up with the idea of submerging life sized statues in order to create an amazing artificial reef area where coral reef could grow and in which marine life and fish could inhabit and breed, the underwater museum of Cancun was born.Under the water you can see different facilities, some with solitary sculptures and others with groups of figures, each representing different aspects of the human race that are fascinating in an underwater context. 

The tour consist in two snorkeling sessions in two different parts of the reef each one 45 min. We pick you up at the lobby of your hotel and bring you to our marina, we leave to the ocean at 1:00 pm and return to pier at 5:00 pm.
